The recommended ambient operating temperature for Shinco's home dehumidifiers is between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F). The warm and humid air enters the dehumidifier through the grill on the back, moves over the cold coil, and water is condensed out of the air. The water collects on the pipes and drips down into the bucket for later removal, while the dry air is reheated and blown back into the room by the compressor.

Shinco's 30-pint dehumidifier is ideal for homes, basements, garages, cellars, and laundry rooms. It features a detachable 8.45-pint bucket with a water level indicator, and it can dehumidify rooms up to 1,500 sq. ft. The dehumidifier can be used with a drain hose (23.6") for continuous drainage or with the detachable bucket for manual drainage. It is Energy Star certified, helping customers save energy and money on their electricity bills.

The dehumidifier's modern and convenient features include an LED display, a 24-hour on/off timer, automatic defrost and restart, 2 fan speeds, 4 360° casters, a firm handle, a water full alarm, and a child lock. Before using the dehumidifier, it should be kept standing upright for 24 hours before plugging it in.

Regular cleaning of the bucket, air filter, and main dehumidifier is recommended to maintain efficiency and prevent the breeding of bacteria. When storing the dehumidifier, it should be covered with a plastic bag and kept in a dry, well-ventilated place.
